Vous avez tr\u00e8s probablement entendu le conseil : \u00ab\u00a0mangez des fruits et l\u00e9gumes de saison\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>

Cela semble tr\u00e8s logique, car les conditions de croissance des plantes d\u00e9pendent du climat particulier du lieu de culture ainsi que du sol nourricier.<\/p>

En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, les v\u00e9ritables plantes comestibles de saison sont les plantes sauvages qui poussent naturellement dans l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me d’une r\u00e9gion.<\/p>

Malheureusement, nous ne vivons plus aujourd’hui dans des r\u00e9gions naturelles intactes, dot\u00e9es d’une biodiversit\u00e9 riche et intacte.<\/p>

La grande majorit\u00e9 d’entre nous vit dans des zones agricoles dens\u00e9ment peupl\u00e9es ou fortement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es, o\u00f9 la nourriture naturelle et sauvage est si peu disponible.<\/p>

L’agriculture v\u00e9g\u00e9talienne nous permet de cultiver des fruits, des l\u00e9gumes, des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, des l\u00e9gumineuses et des graines qui sont essentiels \u00e0 notre alimentation.<\/p>

Les terres cultivables constituent donc une valeur irrempla\u00e7able. Soyons r\u00e9alistes, si nous regardons les chiffres, ils ne sont pas bons.<\/p>

Sur l’ensemble des terres cultivables de la plan\u00e8te, seuls 20 % sont consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la culture de l\u00e9gumes et quelques pour cent de ces 20 % sont effectivement des l\u00e9gumes biologiques.<\/p>

C’est pourquoi les agriculteurs sont encourag\u00e9s \u00e0 prendre le moins de risque possible de perte de rendement en cultivant des fruits et l\u00e9gumes standardis\u00e9s, m\u00eame en culture biologique.<\/p>

Cela entra\u00eene une perte de diversit\u00e9 et de vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des esp\u00e8ces. Le choix du consommateur est fortement appauvri, d’o\u00f9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'\u00a0\u00bbimporter\u00a0\u00bb ce qui lui manque.<\/p>

Toujours dans le but de prendre le moins de risques possible, les agriculteurs essaient de cultiver de meilleurs fruits et l\u00e9gumes qui peuvent \u00eatre cueillis sur une plus longue p\u00e9riode, en s’affranchissant lentement de la stricte saisonnalit\u00e9 des fruits et l\u00e9gumes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Par exemple, on peut trouver des carottes, des navets et des choux-fleurs presque toute l’ann\u00e9e !<\/p>

De plus, la culture biologique en serre en pleine terre et sans chauffage nous permet d’avoir des salades vertes fra\u00eeches toute l’ann\u00e9e, ainsi que d’autres l\u00e9gumes qui seraient \u00e9videmment affect\u00e9s par la neige, les fortes pluies, le vent froid ou le gel.<\/p>

Cette approche n’est pas nouvelle, car depuis des milliers d’ann\u00e9es, l’homme s\u00e9lectionne des esp\u00e8ces plus r\u00e9sistantes au froid, \u00e0 la chaleur, \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse et \u00e0 toute autre condition climatique d\u00e9favorable.<\/p>

Gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement des techniques de culture, nous savons mieux comment cr\u00e9er des microclimats plus favorables \u00e0 la croissance des plantes potag\u00e8res.<\/p>

Aujourd’hui, il est ind\u00e9niable que la fronti\u00e8re entre les fruits et l\u00e9gumes de saison et hors saison est de plus en plus floue pour de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces v\u00e9g\u00e9tales.<\/p>

D’autre part, il y a une raison pour laquelle les fruits tropicaux ne poussent pas dans les r\u00e9gions temp\u00e9r\u00e9es ou froides.<\/p>

Si des fruits comme les fraises ne poussent pas en hiver, il y a aussi une raison \u00e0 cela.<\/p>

Les fruits et l\u00e9gumes sont li\u00e9s aux cycles naturels des saisons et du climat et fournissent ce dont nous avons besoin au bon moment.<\/p>

Par exemple, la past\u00e8que est extr\u00eamement rafra\u00eechissante, il n’est donc pas conseill\u00e9 d’en manger en hiver, alors que vous consommerez s\u00fbrement des smoothies avec des baies congel\u00e9es (donc hors saison) car elles sont riches en antioxydants.<\/p>

Au final, tout est une question de mesure, de logique et de savoir pourquoi nous consommons tel ou tel aliment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
